North Canton Public Library
Design an identity that represents the North Canton Public Library as more than just a library. The library is books of course, but it’s also electronic media, a place of learning and gathering. A key player in the North Canton community, in both it’s services and it’s events. This identity needed to be versatile while maintain the new top-to-bottom rebranding.
A logo that not only conveys books, but buildings. The new modern logo conveys stability, versatility and motion. Libraries are no longer just a building in the center of town. Libraries are a vital part of the information age. Internet access, e-materials, programs, community service and stability are what libraries are. The North Canton Public Library is no exception. Always on the cutting-edge of technology, the new identity conveys that message.
2013 Gold Marcom Award for Marketing and Communication. MarCom Awards is a creative competition for any individual or company involved in the concept, writing and design of print, visual, audio and web materials and programs. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops and production companies.
The MarCom statuette graces the trophy cases of some of the top business and communication firms in the world. The competition has grown to the largest of its kind in the world with about 6,000 entries per year.
